Reaching the pinnacle of the BMW product range in terms of both performance and equipment, X5 M manages to dazzle its enthusiasts every year. The department which recently delivered the X4 from of its garage, this time comes up with a car at the top of the product range. The BMW X5 2020 will debut this weekend at the passenger car championship in Germany.
As we mentioned at the beginning, the same engines are used in these two special models of BMW. These 4.4 liter turbocharged V8 engines deliver a performance of 600 HP and 750 Nm torque. BMW X5 has an 8-speed transmission. It is possible to say that an exciting combination has already emerged with the introduction of the all-wheel drive system with active M differential support as standard. As a matter of fact, when we look at the performance data of the cars, we see that they accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The electronically limited maximum speed is 250 km/h. Of course, there is a Competition face to this coin. Bringing 617 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque with the improvements made in the engine, this package lowers the acceleration time of 0 to 100 km/h to 3.8 seconds. The M Driver package is also the key to increasing the maximum speed up to 290 km/h.
