As its title suggests, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne coupe is the Cayenne SUV quickback version, and it’s just as exciting. The roofline of the Porsche coupe definitely reduces the practical purpose that anyone buys a crossover, but it does in the name of fashion, ahem and style. There are various powertrains, from a green plug-in hybrid to a 541 hp double-turbo V-8. Every Cayenne coupe has driver participation in its dna, regardless of what’s under the bar. After all, the same company has designed the ultimate sports car, the legendary 911. Yes, the Cayenne coupe is much larger and heavier than its slung, twin, but its communicative guidance and impressive abilities have an obvious genetic link. In spite of its different rooflines, the Cayenne coupe and its more upright equivalent (separately reviewed) are almost the same. It offers countless options and excellent building efficiency, but it is costly and steep on its biggest bands. Nonetheless, the 2021 coupe is far more than a declaration of fashion; it is a proclamation of outstanding SUV results.
Motor, Move and Output
The Cayenne coupe is sold by Porsche with a variety of powertrains. The traditional gasoline engines have an overall 340-hp turbo-powered V-6 of 3.0 liters, a 2.9-liter V-6 twin turbo of 434-hp and a 4.0-leter V-8 twin turbo of 453 poneys on the GTS model and a Turbo of 541. The other two power plants are from Cayenne E-Hybrid: one produces 455 horses and the other produces 670 horses. Standard are an adjustable suspension and 20-inch wheels. The GTS is fitted with 21-inch standard rims and a lower suspension than the three models of the Porsche range. Like Cayenne, the handling of the coupe is reliable and agile, and the ride it provides is crafted. When we sampled the Cayenne cut for the first time, we compared its handling with a sports sedan rather than one of the many SUVs in the world. Drivers enthusiasts will enjoy its enthusiastic and sporty nature.
Interior, Luxury and Freight
Despite the sloping roofline, the headroom of the Cayenne coupe is almost the same as that of the Cayenne square. The only downside is that the cargo area is somewhat smaller, but still 22 cubic feet usable. All cup models are standard and have a panoramic sunroof with fixed glass and 8-way power-adjustable front seats and rear seats. The seats can even be equipped with a traditional Porsche houndstooth cloth. Power rear lift and automatic double-field control are nice features, but among the many optional features and packages offered by the Cayenne coupe the one that can increase the price quickly. Porsche offers a chance to make, naturally for a large amount, a personalized Cayenne cup through its Special Manufacturing scheme.
