The 2020 Audi A8 provides a very Audi-like mix of strength and ride comfort. The base 55 TFSI comes with such a turbocharged V-6 rated at 335 hp. The 60TFSI does have a 453-hp twin-turbo V-8 engine. All models use a light-hybrid configuration in which the alternator acts as a starter. The EPA predicts the six-cylinder A8 will gain 17 mpg in the town and 26 mpg on the highway. The socket-in hybrid is rated at 21 mpg town and 27 highway with a total gas-electric output of 54 MPGe.

The A8 ‘s long wheelbase means that rear-seat riders are well accommodated. Good fabrics are in abundance, and you may pick up extended leather. Interior atmosphere is sober and not as luxurious as that of the Mercedes-Benz S-class. Garage size is small for a large luxury sedan at just 13 cubic feet. 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit infotainment system is standard. MMI Touch Answer system is easy to respond and highly customizable. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay phone connectivity is standard alongside Amazon Alexa support.
